The Way of the Siren

The film follows former mercenary Masahiko Yoshida, portrayed by Akihiko Sai, who has transitioned into a private detective. After losing his lover, Yoshida is drawn into a complex case when a young woman requests his help to find her missing sister, an Enka singer. What begins as a straightforward missing person investigation quickly escalates into a confrontation with one of Osaka's most powerful yakuza gangs.

As Yoshida uncovers the connections between the yakuza and the murder of his girlfriend, he finds himself facing overwhelming odds. His only support comes from his former mentor and a close-knit group of friends, including a restaurant owner and a bartender. Set against the backdrop of Osaka's waterways, the film weaves a tale reminiscent of mythological sirens, luring its protagonist deeper into danger.
