The Woman Upstairs

The Woman Upstairs follows the story of Do Hwan, an unemployed man living off stock investments, whose life is disrupted by the noise from his new upstairs neighbor, In Kyeong. As Do Hwan becomes increasingly obsessed with In Kyeong, he is misinterpreted as a perverted psycho, complicating their relationship. The film explores themes of attraction and misunderstanding, particularly as Do Hwan learns that In Kyeong is a medium.

In addition to the romantic tension, the film features Hwa Jin, who has her own feelings for Do Hwan and complicates the dynamics further. As Do Hwan decides to assist In Kyeong, their bond deepens, leading them to engage with other residents through an investment guide. However, challenges arise when In Kyeong struggles with her abilities, putting their plans—and their budding relationship—at risk.
