The Year of the Pig

In The Year of the Pig, a young doctor finds himself enamored with a Moscow singer who is in town for a tour. This leads him into a conflict with local bohemian youths as he tries to win her affection. Meanwhile, a grocery store saleswoman accidentally kills a customer and, with her ex-boyfriend's help, attempts to dispose of the body.

Another storyline features a fish supervision worker who is compelled to impersonate his deceased twin brother during a New Year’s celebration. Each character is determined to navigate their unique challenges in search of happiness as the New Year approaches.
