Thea & Tuva

Thea & Tuva follows sisters Thea and Tuva, who are 14 and 12 years old, respectively. They escape their difficult home environment, marked by their alcoholic mother and her partying friends, by spending time in town. Their lives take a dramatic turn when they come across a five-year-old girl alone in a shopping center and decide to take her with them.

This film portrays the struggles of youth and the complexities of sibling relationships. The narrative highlights how children navigate their challenging circumstances, making it a poignant exploration of childhood and resilience. The performances by Øystein Martinsen and Cato Skimten Storengen add depth to the story, bringing the characters' experiences to life in a relatable way.
