They Call Me Trinity is this delightful mix of action and comedy that plays with the Western genre's tropes. You’ve got Bud Spencer and Terence Hill, who really bring a unique chemistry to the screen. The pacing is pretty relaxed, allowing for those humorous moments to shine without feeling rushed. It’s all about their zany antics as they help these Mormons fend off the land-grabbing Major Harriman. The slapstick is strong, but it doesn’t overshadow the simple, likable story. The film has a certain charm with its practical effects and light-hearted approach to violence. Plus, the cinematography captures that classic Western feel without taking itself too seriously, which is refreshing. A bit goofy, but that’s part of its appeal.
Director Enzo Barboni also known for his spaghetti Westerns.Notable for its slapstick humor and light-hearted tone.Filmed in Italy, showcasing stunning landscapes.Part of a successful series, with a sequel released in 1971.
