Those Who Kept the Fire

Set in the early years following the Bolshevik coup, Those Who Kept the Fire tells the story of Ivan Klyavin, a mining foreman elected as the acting director of a plant after a violent attack. The narrative follows Klyavin as he searches for a missing train carrying essential supplies, ultimately leading him to a significant encounter with Lenin in Petrograd.

As Klyavin returns to the factory, he shares a letter from the party leader with the workers, inspiring them to unite against their challenges. Despite facing opposition and personal tragedy, the workers rally to overcome the devastation brought on by their enemies. This film provides a dramatic portrayal of resilience and determination in a time of turmoil.
