Those Who Remain

The story follows Bertrand, who visits his terminally ill wife daily, enduring a long commute. During one of his trips, he encounters Lorraine, who is visiting her boyfriend with colon cancer. Their chance meetings lead to shared moments over coffee, with Lorraine eventually offering to drive Bertrand to the train station.

As the two navigate their grief and confusion, they find solace in each other's company, transforming their relationship amid difficult circumstances.
