Three Comrades

The film follows Zaitsev, a new construction manager, as he arrives in a small town where two of his former comrades from the Red Army are established. Glinka, the director of the local paper factory, and Latsis, who heads the timber rafting operation, find their lives intertwined with Zaitsev's ambitious plans for expansion. As Zaitsev gathers a group of opportunists around him, the dynamics of their long-standing friendship begin to unravel.
