Three Live Ghosts

Set in London during Armistice Day 1918, Three Live Ghosts centers on an investigator questioning Mrs. Gubbins about her stepson Jimmy and his friend William Foster, both presumed dead in the Great War. The twist comes when Jimmy unexpectedly appears on the street along with Bill 'Jones' and a third man, known only as 'Spoofy', who has lost his memory. Their return from what were thought to be fatal circumstances complicates matters, especially for Jimmy's mother, who has been relying on his death benefits.
