Three Summers

The story follows Jørgen, who returns to Denmark every summer with his wife. He regularly invites his neighbors and their teenage son, Thomas, for dinner. However, this year, an unusual tension fills the air among the adults, hinting at deeper issues beneath the surface.

After dinner, Jørgen and Thomas take a walk along the beach, where they begin to reveal their secret problems to each other. This moment marks the beginning of an unexpected friendship. Over the course of the next two summers, their relationship evolves in ways neither could have anticipated, delving into complex themes of connection and secrecy.
