Through the Fire

The film tells the story of Pavlik and his mother, who are caught far from their home in Leningrad when war breaks out. As they navigate the dangers of Nazi-occupied territory, Pavlik's mother faces arrest due to a traitor's denunciation. Alone, Pavlik embarks on a perilous journey back to Leningrad, where he encounters a partisan scout named Savely who helps him.

As time passes, Pavlik matures and ultimately joins the fight, becoming a soldier who returns to Leningrad with a supply train.
