Thuy centers on a Vietnamese woman married to a Korean man, who faces the challenges of life with her in-laws in a rural setting. After her husband, a gambling addict, dies in a motorcycle accident, she becomes suspicious of the circumstances surrounding his death, as he had never learned to ride a bicycle.

The villagers, however, find her determination to investigate both annoying and disruptive. This film is an indie production from Indieplug and Sangnam Film Studio, showcasing the cultural nuances and complexities of relationships in a cross-cultural context.
