TimeFighters in the Land of Fantasy is an interesting piece of animation history from 1984. It’s a bit of an oddball, really, being the second film adapted from Tatsunoko's Time Bokan series by Jim Terry's Kidpix Productions. The film stitches together various fairy tale-themed episodes, which gives it a whimsical and sometimes disjointed feel. The pacing can be a bit uneven, but that just adds to its charm. The animation style carries a certain retro vibe that you don’t see much anymore. Practical effects are minimal, but they fit the low-budget aesthetic pretty well. It’s not the type of film you’d binge-watch, but it has its own unique atmosphere that might intrigue collectors looking for something different.
