Timur and His Team

The film follows seventeen-year-old Zhenya as she travels from her home in the northern capital of Russia to a border village in Belgorod. There, she encounters Timur, a local informal leader, and his group of teenage volunteers. They assist Zhenya in connecting with her brother, who is preparing for deployment in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

As Zhenya navigates her relationship with Timur and his team, the film delves into the complexities of friendship and loyalty amidst the backdrop of war. The characters’ interactions challenge Zhenya's perspectives and ultimately redefine her outlook on life.
