Tipped Off

The story follows Mildred Garson, a secretary and fiancée to playwright Anthony Moore, who dreams of landing the lead role in his new production. In an effort to showcase her talent, her siblings concoct a scheme to stage a fake robbery at Moore's home. However, things take a turn when real thieves invade the scene, leading to chaos and danger.

As the plot unfolds, Mildred finds herself kidnapped by the gang led by Dan 'The Fox' Grogan. Her escape is aided by Chong Wo, a Chinese philosopher, who plays a pivotal role in the climax of the narrative. The film culminates in a confrontation that ultimately sees Grogan apprehended and paves the way for Mildred and Anthony's marriage.
