Tonpachi

In "Tonpachi," Hajime Sato, played by Kazuyoshi Ozawa, is a struggling pink-film actor who secures a role in a mainstream movie called "Tokyo’s Shadow." However, his performance is cut from the final edit, pushing him back into the adult film industry. The film explores his interactions with director Nomura and his old friend Hachi Kamei, highlighting the challenges he faces while attempting to navigate his acting career amidst financial struggles and personal issues.

The narrative escalates as Hajime takes on a dangerous role posed by Hachi, who is now involved with the yakuza. As Hajime excels in this new role, he becomes entangled in Hachi's reckless ambitions, which threaten not only his temporary success but also his future in acting.
