The film presents three choreographic works. The first segment, Annonciation, directed by Angelin Preljocaj, explores the biblical encounter between the Angel Gabriel and Mary. This piece reflects on themes of conception and the birth of faith and culture.

The second segment, Les Raboteurs, is directed by Cyril Collard. It depicts a contemporary couple in an empty Parisian room discussing love and perception. The choreography draws connections to Gustave Caillebotte’s painting The Floor Scrapers, focusing on the intersection of movement and visual art.

The final segment, Un trait d'union, returns to Angelin Preljocaj’s direction and adapts Jean-Paul Sartre’s La Chambre. It tells the story of a woman facing societal pressure to send her mentally unstable husband to an asylum, highlighting themes of loyalty and personal struggle.
