Toxic Effect

The film follows Steve Woodman, a CIA official for the United States Department of Agriculture. He investigates the illegal manufacture and use of Agent Orange, a defoliant used during the Vietnam War. His journey takes him to Africa, where he confronts Clive Hyde, a fertilizer baron whose operations are linked to the harmful chemical.

As Steve poses as a journalist, he uncovers the tragic impact of Hyde's chemical plant on local farmers, particularly through the grotesque deformities seen in their crops and children.
