Tragedi Bintaro

Tragedi Bintaro is inspired by a real train crash that resulted in numerous casualties. The narrative follows Minah, portrayed by Roldiah Matulessy, as she cares for her five grandchildren in a Jakarta village. Facing the challenges of everyday life as a clothes washer and massager, Minah's wishes for a better future for her family are shattered when tragedy strikes.

The film presents a stark depiction of loss and survival, focusing on the bond between Minah and her grandchildren. The character of Juned, who sells newspapers to help support the family while attending school, becomes a central figure in the story. After the train collision, Juned emerges as the sole survivor, forced to confront a new reality following the loss of his family members and the amputation of his leg.
