Treason

The film follows a husband who becomes so focused on perfecting a high-power explosive that he neglects his wife. This neglect is compounded by the arrival of a mysterious man in their home, who is actually a Secret Service operative assigned to protect the husband's invention while keeping the wife in the dark about its significance.

As the wife grows more curious and frustrated, she is drawn into a scheme proposed by Aachen, who suggests that the husband should be taught a lesson. This leads to the theft of the explosive formula, setting off a chain of events that culminates in a government intervention. In the end, the story serves as a cautionary tale about the consequences of betrayal and the innocence of those caught in the crossfire.
