Tremors 2: Aftershocks

The story picks up with Earl Bassett, now a reluctant celebrity after his exploits in the town of Perfection. When an oil company in Mexico encounters fresh Graboid activity, Bassett is recruited to help handle the escalating threat. The film expands on the Graboid mythology by introducing new creature stages and inventive tactics to combat them, such as the use of remote-controlled vehicles.

S.S. Wilson, who co-wrote the original Tremors, made his directorial debut with Aftershocks. The cast features Fred Ward reprising his role as Earl Bassett alongside Michael Gross, who also returns as survivalist Burt Gummer. Helen Shaver and Chris Gartin join the ensemble, contributing to the blend of action and humor that characterizes the series.
