Triassic Hunt has that grindhouse vibe with a modern twist, blending action, sci-fi, and horror in a rather entertaining package. The premise of mercenaries chasing down smart dinosaurs is as wild as it sounds, and it delivers some decent creature effects, albeit not always top-notch. The pacing feels a bit uneven at times, which lends itself to a certain charm. You get a mix of over-the-top performances and some surprisingly solid moments that make it feel like a throwback to the creature features of the past. The atmosphere is fun, if not fully polished, but it knows what it wants to be – a chaotic romp filled with killer dinosaurs and not taking itself too seriously.
