Triple Dragon is this interesting mash-up of nostalgia and martial arts. The Stunt People really leaned into the fan film vibe, kind of reviving that arcade spirit from Double Dragon and Streets of Rage. The choreography has a rawness to it, which is refreshing—like they really went for those practical effects. Lucas Okuma as Iron Shirt brings a solid physicality, while Dennis Ruel’s Tornado has this nimble charm. Eric Jacobus as Eye Patch adds a nice counterbalance with his blocking style. There’s a playful energy throughout, and the pacing has a nice rhythm, almost like you’re watching a live-action game. It’s not polished like big-budget films, but maybe that’s what adds to its charm, right?
