Two Boys from the Same District

The film follows childhood friends Ahmet and Nuri, who grow up in a rural setting as the sons of poor farmers. They work together in a factory and publish a magazine, Light, that challenges colonial policies and military pacts. However, their friendship faces challenges after their first imprisonment, leading to a divergence in their paths.

While Nuri chooses safety by betraying his convictions and aligning with a reactionary newspaper, Ahmet becomes a prominent figure opposing the reactionaries, rallying patriots to his cause.
