Two Drops of Water

The film follows Ganga Singh, played by Jalal Agha, who is newly married to Gauri, portrayed by Simi Garewal. After marrying, Ganga brings Gauri to his village, where they encounter severe drought conditions. The villagers must travel far for water, highlighting the struggles of rural life during this period.

As Ganga learns about a dam being built to alleviate the water crisis, he decides to leave his wife to assist in its construction. The story unfolds with various tragic events, including the death of Ganga’s father and the assault on his sister. Ganga ultimately sacrifices his life to prevent a disaster at the dam, which symbolizes hope and renewal for the village. His legacy continues as Gauri bears their son and lives on in the transformed village.
