‘U Turn’ is an interesting film, blending action and crime in a way that keeps you guessing. Raveena, our protagonist, is a reporter drawn into a dark web while covering accidents on a flyover, which quickly escalates into something much more sinister. The pacing has a nice ebb and flow, with moments of tension that are punctuated by quieter, reflective scenes. I found the atmosphere to be quite gripping, almost claustrophobic at times, reflecting Raveena's mounting anxiety. The performances are solid, grounding the more sensational aspects in a relatable reality. Definitely leans into practical effects that add a gritty touch, which gives it a unique feel compared to other films in the genre. Not your typical crime story, that's for sure.
