UMMAH - Unter Freunden

The story follows Daniel, who seeks to distance himself from his job at the Office for the Protection of the Constitution after a traumatic incident. Instead of resigning, he finds himself in a rundown apartment, where he unexpectedly forms a bond with Abbas, an Arab second-hand goods dealer.

As Daniel acclimates to his new life, he discovers the complexities of his surroundings and the people within them. However, his past resurfaces when his boss visits him, bringing news that complicates his newfound friendships and sense of security. This film combines humor with a poignant narrative about identity and belonging in a modern urban landscape.
