Unanswered Prayers

The story follows Ben Beck, a former football player who returns to his small Virginia town. He joins his family's building firm and enjoys a seemingly happy life with his wife Lorrie and their son Jessie. However, this happiness is disrupted by the arrival of Ben's high school sweetheart, Ava Andersson, who comes back from Chicago after a failed marriage. Her presence rekindles old feelings and strains Ben's current family dynamics.

As Ava attempts to reconnect with Ben, their past romance unfolds, leading to significant tension.
