Uncle Victory

The story follows Chen Shengli, a 40-year-old ex-convict determined to change his life. After returning to his old theatre, he finds it occupied by a kindergarten unable to pay rent. Encouraged by local police, he decides to take over the management of the kindergarten, where he encounters Sun Xiaomei, a nurse and dancer who becomes key in his journey.

As Shengli navigates the complexities of running the kindergarten, he faces threats from his past associations. The narrative combines elements of personal transformation with romance, as the relationship between Shengli and Xiaomei develops amidst the challenges they face.
