Under a Quarter

This film centers on Shukriya, who faces a series of difficult circumstances after being abandoned by her lover, Khalil. After Khalil's death, Shukriya gives birth to twins and turns to begging to support her family. Her life takes a turn when she encounters Abbas, the chief beggar, who marries her but is later revealed to be a drug dealer.

As Shukriya informs the police about Abbas's illegal activities, he is imprisoned, leading to her taking over his role in the beggar community. The film's exploration of her transformation from victim to power holder provides a gripping look at resilience and survival in challenging environments.
