Under a Spell

The film follows Eliseo, a 13-year-old boy living on the Yucatan coast during the 1930s. He embarks on a romantic relationship with his schoolteacher, Felipa. After their relationship is discovered, Felipa flees the village, leaving Eliseo with lingering memories and unfulfilled desires.

As Eliseo is compelled to marry another woman and settle into a mundane life, he cannot escape the impact of his past with Felipa. A decade later, Felipa returns, reigniting old feelings and transforming Eliseo's life, along with the lives of those around him.
