Under the Shadow of the Sun

The narrative follows Matko, a 42-year-old Ethiopian man, who is released from prison after serving 15 years for the murder of his wife. His journey leads him to search for his only son, who was just two years old at the time of the crime. Upon finding his son, Matko discovers that he is involved in sex work, prompting deep reflections on his role as a father and the complexities of their relationship.
