Under Western Skies

The film follows Bob Erskine, the son of a wealthy New York banker, who falls in love with Ella Parkhurst, the daughter of an Oregon rancher. In an effort to support Ella's family, Bob takes on work as a fieldhand and quickly learns about the challenges facing farmers, particularly when it comes to securing credit from Eastern bankers, including his own father.
