In Unification of Japan 67, Himuro and Tamura return to Tokyo to confront Okada, only to face unexpected challenges with the Hasekai's succession notice. As tensions rise, Himuro's decision to sever ties with Okada's faction escalates the conflict between the Kyowakai and Marugami-kai.

The story also follows Reiko, who is living in hiding with Genji. Despite her distrust, her desire for vengeance against the Kyowakai drives her closer to Okada’s faction, resulting in complex relationships and escalating tensions.
