Until Next Spring

The story follows Vera, a student from the Leningrad Pedagogical Institute, whose first love leads to disappointment rather than joy. After experiencing betrayal, Vera becomes suspicious and withdrawn, prompting her to leave the city with her young daughter for a remote village where she hopes to start anew.

In this village, Vera forms a bond with Aleksei Nikolaevich, a teacher at a neighboring school. Their friendship becomes a source of support in her journey toward rebuilding trust and facing the challenges of her past.
