Up Your Teddy Bear

The film centers on Clyde King, a toy store employee with a penchant for making wooden toys and an unsettling obsession with women. His talents attract the attention of a powerful toy company owner, who sends her assistant, Lyle "Skippy" Burns, to recruit King. However, King resists, as the owner reminds him too much of his mother, leading to bizarre fantasy scenarios where she dominates him.

Skippy's attempts to entice Clyde into signing an employment contract take a strange turn when he resorts to dressing in drag as a prostitute to provide King with companionship. Unfortunately, each setup results in disastrous encounters, escalating Skippy's desperation to the point of contemplating murder. The film's mix of dark humor and absurd situations makes it an interesting piece within the comedy genre of its era.
