Urbanus: Live & in 't echt

This film showcases the recorded live performances of Urbanus during two sold-out shows held at the Agnietenhof in Tiel on February 4 and 5, 1983. The recordings were edited for television broadcasts by Vara in 1983 and 1984, but this release presents the complete, uncut version of those performances.

Urbanus's theatershow was a significant success, breaking attendance records in both Belgium and the Netherlands. With over 200 performances in the Netherlands, including three at the prestigious Carré in Amsterdam, Urbanus stood out as a singular talent among foreign artists. In Flanders, major theaters also hosted multiple shows, with Antwerp registering an unprecedented audience of over 15,000.
