Mohan is a college student who struggles with motivation. His father brings him back to their village home to focus on his studies and care for his ailing grandfather. However, Mohan prefers wandering in the wilderness with his camera. During one of his explorations, he encounters a gypsy fair and falls in love with Kamli, a captivating young woman.

Their relationship develops through secret meetings, but complications arise when Kamli reveals her impending marriage to Bhairo, a member of her gypsy group. Despite their deep feelings for each other, the plan to escape together falters. When the time comes for Mohan to meet Kamli, he fails to show, leading to unforeseen consequences.
