The story follows Sathyaraj, who harbors unrequited love for Roja, leading to a series of tragic events after she marries her uncle. Following the untimely demise of Roja and her husband, Sathyaraj dedicates his life to caring for Roja's daughter, Sangeetha. This decision causes a rift within the family, particularly with Lakshmi, who is Manivannan's wife and Sathyaraj's sister.

As the plot unfolds, Sathyaraj saves Meena from the sea, a woman with a mysterious past.
