The practical effects, while not groundbreaking, have a certain charm, and you can tell they put some effort into the vampire makeup. The pacing has its lulls, but there’s a tension that builds as Angela balances her love life with her sister's sinister nature. It’s a bit uneven, sure, but that’s part of the movie's character.
