Varavu Ettana Selavu Pathana

The narrative centers around Sivaraman, an honest government clerk, and his wife Lakshmi. They lead a middle-class life with their two children until the arrival of Anja Singam Marudupandi, a corrupt politician, disrupts their existence. Lakshmi's attempts to emulate Marudupandi's lavish lifestyle lead to significant financial strain on Sivaraman, culminating in a loan from a colleague that results in his arrest for corruption.

As the story unfolds, Sivaraman's circumstances take a turn when he secures a job at a brandy company, thanks to Marudupandi's intervention. This film delves into the pressures of societal expectations and the moral compromises individuals make in pursuit of status.
