Verhängnis

The story follows Manuel, who, despite being on probation for previous fraud convictions, falls back into a life of crime. His girlfriend Sylvia warns him that she will leave if he doesn't change his ways. This tension drives the plot as Manuel navigates his turbulent relationships.

The film also introduces Dieter, a man who has withdrawn from society after the tragic death of his wife, finding solace in his bar, PLANTER'S CLUB. The bar serves as a backdrop for key events, including a confrontation between Manuel and Frank, a gambling addict who becomes a victim of Manuel's deceit. Their altercation leads to their arrest, highlighting the consequences of their actions within the confines of their lives.
