Virtuous Men

The film features a narrative centered around Bob Stokes, a wealthy New York clubman who faces a downturn in his fortunes and the rejection of his fiancée, Marcia Fontaine. As he seeks redemption, he impresses the owner of a lumber camp, Henry Willard, by showcasing his leadership and combat skills. The plot thickens with the introduction of a Bolshevik agitator, Robert Brummon, who creates chaos in the camp and ultimately seeks revenge on Stokes.

As Stokes transitions from the lumber camp to overseeing a shipyard in New York, the stakes rise with the construction of a government "mystery ship." The film intertwines personal conflicts as Stokes falls in love with Willard's daughter, Helen, while Brummon tries to manipulate Marcia into seducing him. Tension escalates as Brummon's schemes culminate in a dangerous confrontation that threatens Stokes' life and the ship's fate.
