Vánoce u Matěnů

The film follows the Matěn family, including father Karel, mother Růženka, son Jirka, teenage daughter Vera, and their talkative grandfather. On Christmas Eve, they set out to create an amateur film, aiming to document the process of picking up a carp from the post office and releasing it into the river. Their plans take a turn when a thief disrupts their festivities and steals a significant amount of money, leading to a web of suspicion among the family members.
