Vánoční hvězda

The film follows Miloš, a stationmaster and trumpet player who is on the verge of fifty. He struggles with loneliness and his unrequited affection for Tereza, a nurse who travels on his train. After a poignant moment at a funeral, his friends encourage him to take a leap of faith by entering a Christmas talent show, "Vánoční hvězda". It is in this competition that Miloš begins to discover love and connection in an unexpected way.
