The story follows Philipp, a devoted BVB fan who becomes desperate when he learns that Viktoria plans to steal his team's star player for FC Bayern. In a moment of impulsive action, he accidentally causes her to suffer temporary amnesia. Seizing the opportunity, Philipp pretends to be her husband and convinces her that her name is Dörte.

As he maintains this façade for three days, Philipp struggles with his guilty conscience and finds himself increasingly drawn to Viktoria, who he discovers is quite likable. The film mixes humor with the world of soccer fandom, making it relatable to sports enthusiasts and comedy fans alike. With a cast featuring Axel Stein and Julia Hartmann, Volltreffer delivers a light-hearted take on love, loyalty, and the lengths one will go for their passions.
