Wan Embong

The film follows Omar, portrayed by Faizal Hussein, who is the head of Kampung Tuan Tunggal. He has two obedient wives, Seri and Chempaka, and his life takes a turn when he becomes involved with Wan Manap and his daughter, Wan Embong, played by Neelofa. As Omar collects taxes from Wan Manap's household, he learns about their struggles and forms a bond with the young woman, leading to his desire to marry her.

Set against a backdrop of village life, "Wan Embong" delves into the dynamics of familial duty and romantic aspirations. The story unfolds as Omar navigates his responsibilities towards his existing wives while contemplating a new relationship. The film features a cast that includes Johan As'ari, Vanida Imran, and Rahim Razali, contributing to the rich narrative of personal and social conflicts within the community.
