Warrior Angels is a curious blend of action and adventure, with a unique premise led by Joanna Pacula as Elizabeth. The film has a gritty feel, typical of early 2000s low-budget productions, but it does bring some solid practical effects to the table. Rutger Hauer, as the villain Grekkor, delivers a memorable performance, injecting a certain menace that elevates the otherwise straightforward narrative. The pacing can feel uneven, but there's a certain charm in its earnestness. The medieval setting is well-realized despite its budget constraints, and the film scratches that itch for fans of female-led warrior tales. It's not groundbreaking, but it has its own character, making it an interesting find in action-adventure cinema.
