Watch Me

The story follows 10-year-old Shigeki, who experiences a significant moment in his life when he gets his own room for the first time. From this newfound space, he becomes infatuated with a girl named Yayoi, who lives in a house on a nearby hill. With the help of his father, Shigeki purchases a telescope to observe her, marking the beginning of his one-sided affection.

As Shigeki's family prepares to move away, he takes the opportunity to express his feelings by writing a love letter to Yayoi. He leaves the letter in her mailbox before departing, symbolizing the innocence and hope of young love. The film continues to follow Shigeki as he grows older, maintaining his watchful gaze on Yayoi, reflecting the enduring nature of his feelings.
