What happened - No one knows

The film follows an unlikely group of misfits who have made their home on a rooftop between a feed mill and a municipal waste treatment plant. Lisbeth, Herbert, and Walther have formed a self-sufficient paradise, living off the leftovers of society. Herbert hunts cats, Lisbeth nurtures vegetables, and Walther scavenges for scrap from the dump below.

Their peaceful existence is disrupted when a nameless stranger arrives, setting up a tent among their huts. The rooftop dwellers become anxious about this suit-wearing newcomer. They must confront the possibility that he could either threaten their idyllic society or become a part of it.
